Quilts by Lucy was started in 2005 with the purchase of my APQS Millennium. It resided in the basement of our Maryland home for the first few years, before my husband was transferred to Alabama. My long arm currently resides in a two-car garage that has been converted into my studio. My studio is smoke-free and pet-free. And I’m working diligently to keep it decluttered.
The Millennium is a stitch-regulated machine and most of my quilting is done freehand. I have recently purchased Quilt Path, a computerized system, and I am diligently exploring the various possibilities in order to give my customers more options for how their quilts are finished. As I’ve said before, Almost anything that can be drawn can be quilted. The possibilities are unlimited!
In addition to quilting, I also bind quilts and make custom quilts. I have designed a couple of patterns and plan to do more. I will keep you posted as new patterns and events occur.
